Bangalore: Kendo UI, a comprehensive framework for building JavaScript and HTML5 sites and mobile apps, announced that it was the recipient of a trio of accolades from the esteemed 2012 Code Project Members Choice Awards. By popular vote, members of Code Project voted Kendo UI as first choice in the HTML5 Tools category. Code Project members also voted overwhelmingly and bestowed Kendo UI with another gold medal in the Frameworks and Mobile Development category. Kendo UI also received an honorable mention in the JavaScript Tools and Frameworks category.

Each year, The Code Project members are asked to nominate and then rate their favorite products in various categories. The Code Project editors then compile the highest rated listings, awarding the highest ranked product in each category. The results reflect products that its extensive software developer community of more than 3.8 million values most. They choose which companies or products deserve recognition, based on in-the-field experience.

Introduced late last year, Kendo UI by Telerik, a market-leading provider of end-to-end solutions for application development, software testing, agile project management, reporting, and content management is everything professional developers need to build HTML5/JavaScript sites and mobile apps. Building on top of the popular jQuery JavaScript library, Kendo UI leverages the latest in CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript web standards, while still delivering broad support for all major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and mobile browsers on iOS, Android and BlackBerry.

“We’re thrilled to receive this tremendous support and endorsement from The Code Project’s esteemed developer community. This recognition underscores that Kendo UI is on the right track in supporting developers’ needs for building sites and mobile apps across a rapidly evolving device, mobile OS and browser landscape. We will continue to focus on extending Kendo UI’s features, capabilities and support to ensure they squarely address developers’ dynamic requirements,” said Todd Anglin, Vice President, HTML5 Web & Mobile Tools at Telerik.
