Bangalore: The growth of smartphones and tablets has grown exponentially over the past few years. Today, various business organizations are adopting mobile phones in their day to day functioning to not only ease up the work load but also to stay connected anytime and anywhere.

Mobile phones have helped many executives make quick decisions which had in turn helped their organization grow. With a click of a screen option, they are able to download all the information they need to make a decision.

However, Google in one of its research reported that 79% of Australian business organizations are yet to offer a mobile optimized website. “The mobile revolution isn’t ‘coming’- it’s already happened. Mobile is no longer optional. Business needs to develop a mobile strategy, or risk getting left behind,” said Jason Pallegrino, Google Australia’s head of mobile advertising.

Realizing the need for the organization to go mobile, many find it tough to decide either to create a mobile compatible website or to develop a mobile app.

Here is an infographic from Mashable which will help you in deciding whether to start building a mobile app or a mobile website.
