Android Vs. iOS: Are they Secure?

Bangalore: The rising popularity of Android and iOS smartphones in the market has raised concerns on their security. With this popularity, there is also a growth in the number of employees going mobile. This opened up chances of security breaches as data are transferred through low security connections and networks.

71% of respondents in a study done by Dimensional Research reported that mobile devices are a major contributing factor that increases the risks of security incidents.

However, mobile platforms are still more secure compared to their PC counterparts as identified by Symantec, an internet and Device Security company.
