Recent iPhone games comes with super-realistic graphics, surround sound and global multiplayer matches via the high speed internet, but many of us still long for those old retro games, which was a jumpstart for all of us into the gaming world. Those retro games of the early 80’s and 90’s were, simple, addictive and memorable forever.

The newer generations of games are really superb and every new game in the market will try to out beat the other in terms of gameplay, graphics and special effects. Yes, its true that, you didnt need to master 14 buttons just to beat a level or suffer from vertigo because of a dizzying first-person or real life perspective.

If youve got a romantic spot for lively arcades of the early 80s -- or sitting on a dirty rug in front of the boob tube, with an Atari beside you -- then youll be happy to know there are many ways to regain the glory of the "golden retro-age of gaming" -- in 2012.

Retro on your smartphone
Many of the game apps for iPhone and iPad are the classics from yesteryear. You can download authentic versions of “Pac-Man," "Galaga," "Space Invaders," to name just a few -- many of which are just $0.99 cents/copy. Some, like Ataris "Missile Command" and "Breakout," are completely free.
Games like the Brick Game and Snake game and Dx Ball have made a big mark in the mobile gaming industry. People irrespective of hard core gamers, Business people, Students or even older generation are still in total craze with these retro games on their latest gadgets.

Brick (Retrobit) and Snake (Retrobit) are really games that revive the magic of the 80’s and 90’s. The huge downloads and awesome gaming experience is a classic proof to its reincarnation into the gaming world.

The smartphone experience has made it even better with super-realistic graphics and classic retro looks. You would feel, you are back to yesteryears playing the game that you loved the most.
